Nathan is known for always maintaining a positive attitude when faced with adversity. His wife, Jennifer, was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. They are the parents of three children – one of which is severely developmentally disabled and requires 24-hour care.
Nathan and Jennifer have always been very frugal and have managed to avoid building up large amounts of debt. He has been out of work for about a month due to medical issues and their savings account was hacked
With all of the hard things happening in their lives, Nathan and Jennifer still look for opportunities to serve others. He was one of the first to jump in and offer help when a friend had a baby in the NICU. They have taken a lot of hits but continue to fight to make a better life for their family and others.
Secret Santa learned about Jennifer and Nathan and asked the East Idaho News elves to take them some special gifts. Watch the video above to see how the surprise turned out!
