IDAHO FALLS — Wendy’s is celebrating March Madness by giving away free food this week.

Customers can pick up Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits during breakfast hours from Thursday, March 18 through Saturday, March 20. Wendy’s is the official breakfast sponsor of March Madness and will be running promotions throughout the NCAA tournament.

“We share the excitement for the return of the biggest basketball event of the year and are living out our sponsorship name by kicking off the tournament with a delicious Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit deal nationwide,” said Carl Loredo, U.S. Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy’s Company. “Fans and players can leave the drama, heartbreak and upsets on the court and enjoy the March Madness action without distractions thanks to Wendy’s first-string fresh breakfast and roster of all-day menu options that always deliver.”

No purchase is necessary for the free biscuit but there is a limit of one per customer at participating locations while supplies last. The offer is not valid for delivery orders or when combined with other Wendy’s app offers.

The fast-food chain is also partnering with Uber to offer a $0 delivery fee on orders of $10 or more from Sunday, March 14 through Tuesday, April 6. Customers can order through the Wendy’s app, where points are earned on every purchase that can then be redeemed for free food.
