Frost advisory issued in eastern Idaho
Published atIDAHO FALLS — The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for a significant portion of eastern Idaho.
Local meteorologists say the advisory, which is in effect from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. Wednesday, will impact people in the following communities: Idaho Falls, Rexburg, Rigby, Pocatello, Blackfoot, American Falls, Shelley, Fort Hall Shoshone, Richfield, Carey, Mud Lake, INL, Craters of the Moon National Monument.
Temperatures as low as 33 to 37 degrees are predicted in the early morning.
Frost can kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.
