IDAHO FALLS — Reed’s Dairy is hosting its annual “Halloween at the Dairy” on Saturday from 1 – 3 p.m. at their Idaho Falls Headquarters on Broadway Street.

This year’s event boasts horse-drawn wagon rides, a donut eating contest, the famous “Brain Freeze Ice Cream Eating Contest,” cornhole and more.

“The ice cream eating contest is a big one at our party,” says Reed’s Dairy President Alan Reed. “We have three different age groups, so the younger kids compete with their own ages. The ice cream is pre-scooped in cups. The first one that finishes is the winner of the gift card.”

In addition to the festivities, guests can interact with the various animals at the dairy, including pigs, goats and more.

Reed’s Dairy has been in operation since 1955. According to their website, over 250 Holstein cows provide fresh milk that is delivered across Idaho.

“Reed’s Dairy has been such a staple in the community and we feel this Halloween event is one way Reed’s is bringing families together,” says spokeswoman Cindy Miller.
