KAUAI, Hawaii — Video of Lori Vallow Daybell being served with court documents as she and her new husband chilled by a pool in Hawaii has just been released.

The video was admitted in evidence during Daybell’s trial last week as Kauai Police Department Detective Colin Nesbitt testified. Nesbitt served Daybell with the paperwork in January 2020. It demanded that Daybell produce JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan, her two missing kids, to a court or the Department of Health and Welfare in Rexburg within five days.

The children were found six months later buried on Chad Daybell’s property.

The Kauai Police Department released the video Tuesday evening. Fox 10 Phoenix reporter Justin Lum was first to post it on his Twitter account.

After four weeks of testimony from 60 witnesses, the prosecution and defense rested in Daybell’s case Tuesday. Jurors will be given instruction on Thursday before closing arguments. Deliberations will then begin.
