DRIGGS – Frontier Credit Union provided an interest-free loan to the Teton Regional Economic Coalition’s Collaborative for an Early Learning Project in Driggs.

Alex Gambal donated the house to the Teton School District 401, which will be used to provide a reliable childcare facility.

“We believe in building better lives, so when Mayor August approached us about needing help with this project, we were more than happy to provide them with anything they needed,” said Ethan Morriss, Frontier Credit Union’s Chief Lending Officer. “With our Driggs branch expected to open in 2024, we are excited to be a part of something that is so badly needed in the Driggs community.”

“We knew this was going to be a big project, but the community has really come together to make this top priority in order to get the facility running as soon as possible,” Mayor August said in an interview. “The enthusiasm from all parts involved, really has made this project enjoyable and amazing to see come together.”

“The facility will be able to hold around 75 kids ranging from 0-5 years of age,” said Brian McDermot, head of the Teton Regional Economic Coalition. “The Collaborative for Early Learning could not get this project done without the generous interest free loan from Frontier Credit Union”.
