REXBURG — The Rexburg Children’s Choir is preparing for its annual holiday concert and this year, GENTRI will be joining the group for what’s promised to be an uplifting, memorable evening.

The concert will be held at the Rexburg Tabernacle on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m.

“Partnering with GENTRI on Veterans Day for this concert is an exciting moment for us,” Ben Watson, Choir Founder and Managing Director, tells EastIdahoNews.com. “While we’ll be celebrating the coming holiday season through music, we will also take time to recognize veterans at the concert.”

Watson is inviting veterans from across eastern Idaho to attend the concert with their families so they can be honored for their service. The show will also feature a mix of holiday classics and collaborations with GENTRI, The Gentlemen Trio.

GENTRI was established in 2014 and is comprised of three dynamic tenors: Brad Robins, Casey Elliott, and Bradley Quinn Lever. The fourth member of the group is the award winning composer, arranger, and producer Stephen Nelson.

The Rexburg Children’s Choir was founded in 2018 and features 75 kids between the ages of 10-17. The group has become known for its sold-out Christmas concerts featuring prominent guests including Jenny Oaks Baker, Mat and Savanna Shaw and Adassa. Richard and Peggy Larsen of Rexburg have sponsored the Christmas concerts every year.

“We are so grateful for Richard and Peggy Larsen’s continuous support of this annual tradition. Because of them, hundreds of children have had inspiring experiences performing with notable artists and tens of thousands of audience members have been touched,” Watson says. “Although the Rexburg Children’s Choir is only half a dozen years old, it is well on its way to being a permanent fixture of the community touching hearts for generations to come.”

Tickets for the concert are $15 and can be purchased here.
