IDAHO FALLS — Idaho State Police troopers are investigating a two-vehicle crash that led to four people being transported to the hospital Thursday evening.

The incident happened just before 8:50 p.m. on U.S. Highway 20 and Ernest Drive in Bonneville County.

A Chevrolet El Camino was driving westbound on US-20 when it collided with a Chevrolet Silverado that failed to yield when entering the highway from Ernest Drive, according to a news release from ISP.

The El Camino was driven by a 17-year-old boy and there was an 18-year-old boy passenger, both from Idaho Falls.

The Silverado was driven by a 51-year-old man and had a 47-year-old woman and two juvenile passengers, all from Idaho Falls.

Everyone was wearing seatbelts, according to ISP.

All lanes on US-20 were blocked for approximately two and a half hours.
