Speed blamed for car crashing into Idaho Falls home

IDAHO FALLS — There were no serious injuries after a car drove into a home in Idaho Falls Friday evening.
The crash happened on 14th Street at about 6:30 p.m., according to Idaho Falls Police Department PIO Robert Lasher. Idaho Falls Police officers responded to the scene, as did an ambulance.
Photos of the crash show what appears to be a silver sports car on the front porch of a residence. It does not appear that it crashed through the front of the house.
“Speed was a factor,” Lasher told EastIdahoNews.com.
There were minor injuries, he said, but no one was taken to the hospital.
The incident is still under investigation. No further information about the driver is available at this time.
