A woman working on her tractor gets the surprise of a lifetime from a Secret Santa
Published atThe EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season.
Marian and Richard have always tried to help others. Life snowballed when one of their children got sick as a teenager and ended up in an Utah treatment center with an eating disorder for three months. They so badly wanted to help their daughter, even if financially it was hard. Things never got back to normal after their daughter recovered.
A few years ago, Marian got an abscess on her liver that put her in triple organ failure and in the hospital for two weeks. She eventually got better, but her health has never been the same.
Richard was diagnosed with leukemia in 2020 and one year later, learned he had prostate cancer. He takes a daily oral chemo pill to keep the leukemia under control. He had surgery for the prostate cancer and the doctor ended up removing 22 lymph nodes.
Marian and Richard have a lot of doctor’s appointments but don’t have a reliable vehicle to get them back and forth. Secret Santa wanted to change that. Watch the East Idaho News elves surprise them in the video player above!
