GENTRI bringing Christmas show to Mountain America Center
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — The Mountain America Center is kicking off the Christmas season by welcoming GENTRI next week.
GENTRI, which is short for “The Gentlemen Trio,” is comprised of three dynamic tenors: Brad Robins, Casey Elliott, and Bradley Quinn Lever. The fourth member of the group is the award-winning composer, arranger, and producer Stephen Nelson.
“We’ve always described our music as cinematic pop. Imagine a tenor trio meets your favorite movie score and that’s more or less what GENTRI would sound like,” Robins tells EastIdahoNews.com.
The group’s Christmas tour kicked off last week in southern Utah and the gentlemen will take the stage this Friday and Saturday at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City. Then, on Dec. 2, GENTRI will perform at the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls for the first time.
“We’ll have the classic Christmas songs you love with a GENTRI spin on it,” Elliott says. “We just love the classics. You can’t beat things like
‘O Holy Night’ and ‘Go Tell It on the Mountain.’ These beautiful songs are timeless and then Stephen puts his musical spin on it and it’s just something magical.”
