Local business owner brings sweet, savory treats to Downtown Pocatello storefront
Published atPOCATELLO — CreeAnna’s LLC, known for its African meat pies, has found a home in Downtown Pocatello.
It has been two weeks since Tiphanie Anirah and her company took up residence inside Round River Baking — at 250 North Main Street. Anirah told EastIdahoNews.com she was looking for a storefront home for her baked creations — exploring several options in the downtown area — when she received a call from the owner of Round River, Matt Sanger.

Round River, Anirah said, was a dream location — with its reputation for delicious specialty breads. So given the opportunity to use the space to sell her own baked creations, she jumped.
“I’m really happy to be here,” she said, adding that the amount of customers who came in her first day was surprising. “This is a lot of work, but I love it, it’s fun.”
Anirah will be open at the new location Tuesdays and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the intention of adding Wednesdays as the business becomes more established.
She plans to have her main items — including the African meat pies — available daily, with some speciality items making occasional appearances as featured items of the week.
“We’re actually coming out with my favorite dessert, which is three-layered German Chocolate Cake,” she said. “We’re excited.”
Selections of Anirah’s items will still be available at the College Market — and gluten-free cookies will still be sold at Idaho Coffee Company. She also plans to continue selling her treats at the Pocatello Valley Farmers Market, as she has for years.
While all her items will be available daily, Anirah asks that large ordered be placed in advance — preferably two weeks in advance, when possible.
Those orders can be placed through Facebook — here — or Instagram — here.
