IDAHO FALLS — A popular craft fair is returning this month to Idaho Falls right in time for holiday shopping.

The Fall Bazaar Craft Fair will take place at Bonneville High School on Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free to the public.

“Bonneville has been the home to the areas largest craft fair for over 40 years,” Haylie Rowberry, coordinator of the Fall Bazaar, told EastIdahoNews.com.

The craft fair was originally held at Hillcrest High School. Rowberry moved the Fall Bazaar to Bonneville High School about seven years ago when a lady who put on another craft fair at Bonneville, retired.

Rowberry said they get about 5,000 shoppers every year. The craft fair features over 100 vendors with the majority of items being hand-crafted.

“(There) will be women’s and children’s fashion, Christmas decor, lots of things for your home, yummy treats and stocking stuffers,” Rowberry mentioned. “It’s really a great place to buy gifts (for Christmas). That’s the big draw for people to come.”

There will also be food trucks outside and donuts and macaroons ready to buy inside. Bonneville’s ballroom team will have food available to purchase as part of their dance team fundraiser too.

“Everything you can think of, you can find at this craft fair,” Rowberry said.

She added, “People have been coming to Bonneville for so long it’s become a family tradition for so many. I’ve talked to a few people I know specifically that they get all the girls in their family and they come for this craft fair.”

Rowberry hopes community members will continue to make memories with their loved ones at the craft fair and show their support for the local vendors.

“Especially with the economy right now, (the craft fair is) a great way to put money locally and to buy your Christmas gifts local,” Rowberry stated.
