The following is a news release from Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand.
IDAHO FALLS — In what has become an annual tradition, Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand will be kicking off their limited-run Christmas Tour on Saturday, November 25, in Idaho Falls, followed by stops in Colorado, Utah, Arizona and Nevada. Ryan and his bandmates will take the stage ready to bust out some all-time Christmas favorites and a few originals as well to create a cozy and warm feeling with a “rock and bluegrass” Christmas vibe.
Winning over audiences has been Shupe’s natural-born talent since childhood. With their effervescent showmanship and tight musical arrangements these shows are not to be missed. From the band that has immortalized the banjo in “Banjo Boy” to their signature uplifting anthem “Dream Big” this five-piece ensemble knows how to entertain and bring their own style of “unchoreographed choreography” to the stage that never fails to entertain the audience.
“Christmas concerts and traveling to new markets allow us to share the magic of music, connect with fans, and celebrate togetherness during this special season,” shared Ryan Shupe.
From the calypso-influenced “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” to the beatnik version of “Drummer Boy” to the Rocking Bluegrass version of “Jingle Bells”, the audience will love these exciting and creative Holiday versions. The band also adds a clever seasonal twist to some of their more popular tunes. “The Corndog Song” becomes “The Eggnog Song” and “The Grinch Went Down To Whoville” is a fun Christmas variation of “The Devil Went Down To Georgia.”

The show is full of fun, energy and the traditional Shupe shenanigans, but also captures the spirit of Christmas with a beautiful instrumental arrangement of “Carol Of The Bells” and a thoughtful “Silent Night” sing-along.
When Christmas lights, Santa hats and entertaining video snippets are coupled with stellar musicianship, tight harmonies and family-friendly entertainment, the Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand Christmas is a tradition you and your whole family will love!
“Although we have been at this a long time and have toured in countless cities and towns, we treat each show like it’s our first,” says Ryan Shupe. “We want people to leave our shows feeling positive about life and Christmas.”
