IDAHO FALLS – A local TikTok celebrity will host a meet-and-greet Friday to collect winter essentials and toys for those in need this holiday season.

Nathan Apodaca, also known as 420Doggface208, will be at Garcias Street Taco’s in Idaho Falls on Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., offering a free meet and greet and raffle in exchange for donations such as coats, gloves, warm hats, snow boots or toys for children in need.

“Doggface is one to give back to the community,” says Gina Acosta, organizer of the event and a local realtor. “To him it is important to give back to our wonderful community. So we thought what a better time than the giving time of Christmas?”

With every donation, attendees will receive a raffle ticket for prizes such as Garcia’s Street Taco’s gift cards and 420DoggFace208 merchandise.

Donations can be dropped off at Garcia’s Street Tacos anytime after Tuesday morning, and will go towards helping those in need at the Idaho Falls Soup Kitchen.

“It’s important that we all remember to help our neighbor, to help each other and not to forget anybody,” says Acosta.

Apodaca garnered national attention in 2020 after posting a 22-second video on TikTok showing himself skateboarding down U.S. Highway 20 in Idaho Falls while lip-syncing to Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” and drinking Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice.
