The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season.

Martha has been widowed for two decades and worked hard labor jobs in potato warehouses for her career. Despite her personal challenges, she has preserved her spirit of giving. You will find Martha making tortillas or other food for her neighbors, and she is constantly making new friends.

Last year, without any prompting or recognition, Martha knitted many cute owl beanies and donated several large boxes to Primary Children’s Hospital in Utah. She is alone in her home, but will never lose her spirit of friendship, compassion, and giving.

Martha needs several repairs to her home to including a broken toilet that is non-functional. She is on a fixed income and recently had a major repair done on her vehicle after being without transportation for over a month.

Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to pay Martha a visit and surprise her with an early Christmas gift. Check out the video in the player above!
