Two people rushed to hospital following crash in Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS — Two people were taken to the hospital by ambulance after a crash on South Yellowstone Highway Friday afternoon.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. near Heyrend Drive and involved a pickup truck and SUV.
The pickup truck was on its side and the SUV was also damaged, according to witnesses.
The medical condition of the people injured in the crash is unknown.
Idaho Falls Police, Idaho Falls Ambulance and Idaho State Police responded to the scene.
The inside lanes were closed while officers conducted their investigation.
