Coroner identifies teenager who died in spud trucks crash

MADISON COUNTY — A 15-year-old boy who died in a two-vehicle accident involving spud trucks has been identified.
Madison County Coroner Sam Butikofer said it was Kelton Hickman of Rigby. Butikofer said he was a passenger in a spud truck and was not wearing a seatbelt.
The incident happened Wednesday just before 6 p.m. in a rural part of Madison County near 5000 South, law enforcement said.

When first responders got on the scene, three kids were found.
One was transported by ground ambulance, and one was transported by Air Idaho to local hospitals. Their current conditions are unknown.
The third, who was Hickman, was declared dead on the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
