POCATELLO — Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute is proud to welcome Ryan Longmore, DO, to Portneuf Cardiology. Longmore recently joined PHVI after previously working in cardiology private practice in Pocatello for many years.
“I have spent years providing cardiology services to southeast Idaho community and look forward to continuing to do so as part of Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute,” said Longmore. “As a Pocatello native, I have a deep desire to elevate the level of cardiac care available in the area to my family and friends and to our community as a whole.”
Longmore is board certified in cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. He spent two years in advanced cardiovascular imaging fellowship at Harvard’s Bringham and Women’s Hospital in Boston studying under some of the great minds in cardiac imaging.
At Portneuf Cardiology, Longmore’s services include inpatient cardiology as well as general cardiology and preventive cardiology clinic visits. He one of the few cardiologists in the state with training and expertise in all the cardiac imaging modalities, including cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, nuclear stress testing and echocardiography.
“I am a firm believer that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I look forward to using my training and state-of-the-art cardiac imaging to identify ‘at risk’ patients and to help them to avoid heart disease in the form of heart attack, stroke and congestive heart failure. My goal as a cardiologist is to not only extend the lifespan of my patients, but to maximize the number of years they spend in good health.”
Longmore is currently seeing new patients at Portneuf Cardiology. To schedule an appointment, call (208) 239-3899.
