The following is a news release from Idaho Lottery.

BOISE — The Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle is one of the most widely anticipated games from the Idaho Lottery every year. This marks the eighteenth year for the popular, annual holiday Lottery game that features two guaranteed top prizes of $1,000,000. Sales on the game began Monday at 4 a.m. M.T. Just like last year, there are only 450,000 tickets at $10 each for this year’s Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle and when they’re gone, they’re gone.

“Players should get their tickets early because this popular game does sell out fast,” said Andrew Arulanandam, Idaho Lottery Director. “The Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle has been making millionaires in Idaho every year since 2007. Last year we made two new millionaires, and this year will do so again.”

Last year’s version of the game sold out on the Saturday after Thanksgiving on Nov. 25 after just 36 days on the market. It was the fastest-selling Raffle game ever offered by the Idaho Lottery.

Besides the two guaranteed top prizes of $1,000,000, there are over 17,800 additional prizes ranging from $15 up to $10,000. The Raffle features 15 daily, $1,000 winners drawn during the first 15 days of sales chosen at random from the previous day’s sales. The game also features eighteen $1,000 prizes for players who purchase one of the eighteen tickets sold once every 25,000 tickets (tickets numbered 025000, 050000, etc.).

Players who win one of the eighteen 25,000th tickets or one of the first fifteen days’ $1,000 prizes must claim their prize at the Idaho Lottery offices in Boise. Their ticket will also remain eligible to win additional prizes in the Raffle, including the $1,000,000 top prizes.

Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle tickets will remain on sale until Dec. 29, at 11:59 p.m. MT or until ticket 450,000 is sold.
