Ethan Slater plays Boq in ‘Wicked’ and he’s answering 7 Questions with Emmy
Published atEvery week, I’m interviewing fascinating people in our community, nation and around the world.
Ethan Slater is an actor, singer, writer, and composer who was nominated for a Tony Award for playing the lead role of SpongeBob SquarePants in the Broadway musical.
His newest role is Boq in the film “Wicked,” which is in theaters now. I saw it and absolutely loved it!
Here’s what I asked Ethan:
- What was it like playing Boq in “Wicked”?
- How did your career on Broadway help you prepare for this film?
- I’ve seen the film but for people who haven’t, can you describe what Boq is like?
- What was it like filming in England?
- Were the rotating wheels you guys danced on in the movie real?
- What is your favorite Boq line?
- Do you have any advice for people who want to act
