MALAD CITY — Riglee Peterson signed a letter of intent to play softball at Northwest Nazarene University Tuesday.

Peterson, a senior, plays pitcher and shortstop, according to head coach Bri Adams.

She has also played volleyball at Malad High School the past three seasons. The Dragons finished second at the 3A State Volleyball Championship this year, losing in the finals to Melba.

Northwest Nazarene University — home of the Nighthawks — is located in Nampa, and competes in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
