IDAHO FALLS — Frank VanderSloot is speaking out about a proposed resolution drafted by Bryan Smith to censure a precinct committee officer for advocating for open primaries and ranked-choice voting in Idaho.

Hyrum Erickson of the Madison County Republican Central Committee was a proponent of Proposition 1. VanderSloot and Erickson debated the issue live on EastIdahoNews.com in October.

The proposal failed at the ballot box with nearly 70% of voters voting against it.
