A local Secret Santa is giving $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season and the East Idaho News elves are helping out.

Every day from now until the end of the year, we’ll be posting a Secret Santa surprise, and today we are surprising a beloved school secretary named Roxy.

Roxy is always a ray of sunshine. Everyone knows her because she frequently tells jokes, sings, dances, gives her time, and serves others.

Roxana lost her oldest son a few years ago and although it was a tragedy, she has such a beautiful outlook on life and tries to be positive.

Roxy has been a single mother for several years supporting herself and her elderly mother on a single income. She is working two jobs right now to try and get ahead.

Roxy recently mentioned that she needs four new tires for her car. They are bald but she just can’t afford new ones.

Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to surprise Roxy with some good news! Check out the video in the player above.
