Man killed in western Idaho crash

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.

GRANGEVILLE — Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle fatality crash that occurred on US95 near milepost 236.5 south of Grangeville.

At approximately 05:07 a.m. Sunday, a 30-year-old male driver from Lewiston was traveling southbound on US95 in a 2003 Ford F350 pickup when he drifted off the right shoulder of the roadway. The pickup then rolled multiple times, coming to rest on its driver’s side against a fence. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He then succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Next of kin was notified.

The highway was not blocked.

Idaho State Police was assisted by the Idaho County Sheriff and the Idaho Department of Transportation.

The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
