Preston, West Side, Rockland top first media rankings
Published atEASTERN IDAHO — A pair of local undefeated teams find themselves at the top of the first media rankings of the boys basketball season.
Preston, with several decisive early season wins, sits atop of the 5A classification, while West Side, still basking in the glow of a football state title, has gotten off to a dominant start and a No. 1 ranking in 3A.
Rockland, despite a loss to Butte County, leads the 1A rankings.
None of the six top-ranked teams received all nine first place votes. All records are as of Thursday voting.
