Thunder Ridge state champ commits to Boise State University

IDAHO FALLS — Junior Justin Anderson has one more year of high school — and another season of high school golf — but he has already made the decision regarding his future beyond Thunder Ridge.
Anderson announced on Instagram his commitment to Boise State University, where he will join the Broncos golf team following his graduation in 2026.
“I am excited to announce my commitment to further my academic and athletic career at Boise State University in 2026,” Anderson said in his social media post. “I want to thank my parents for all they have done for me. I also want to thank Coach David Trainor for believing in me. Go Broncos!”
Anderson won the 6A boys individual state championship, shooting 72-67-139 at Pocatello’s Highland Golf Course, and will have a chance to claim back-to-back titles as a senior next year.
