A Feel Good Friday surprise for a caring grief counselor who created a kitty cottage
Published atEastIdahoNews.com is partnering with Ashley and Ashley Outlet of Idaho Falls to honor people in our community for Feel Good Friday. Every week, we surprise someone deserving of special recognition.
We recently received an email about a woman doing remarkable things. It said:
Kris has been the grief counselor at Hospice of Eastern Idaho for almost 20 years. She has counseled patients and families with grace, empathy and compassion. Kris is also a dedicated lover of animals. Recently she and her family built a kitty cottage called “Abigail’s Manor” in her backyard for all of the cats in her neighborhood. Over the years, Kris and her family have taken care of and spayed more cats than I can count. Her empathy, caring and gentle nature have benefited so many members of our communities – both human and feline.
We decided to surprise Kris and thank her for Feel Good Friday. Watch the video in the player above!

Feel Good Friday is sponsored by Ashley and Ashley Outlet in Idaho Falls, where we are committed to being your trusted partner and style leader for the home. Ashley also seeks to inspire the love of home and enrich others' lives.
