EastIdahoNews.com is partnering with Ashley and Ashley Outlet of Idaho Falls to honor people in our community for Feel Good Friday. Every week, we surprise someone deserving of special recognition.

We received an email several weeks ago about a woman who works at a local credit union. It said:

My husband and I would like to nominate Rebecca for Feel Food Friday. My husband works for the post office. He is very busy and often works past normal business hours.

We have been in need of a vehicle for some time now. We had some time to look for a truck yesterday, and we were back at the dealership at about 5 p.m. and wanted to make an offer on the truck. My husband called Westmark Credit Union at 5:15 p.m. to ask about how to start the loan process. We thought we were going to have to go in person to sign the paperwork, which is impossible with my husband’s schedule.

Rebecca began the application process over the phone. She worked past the closing time of the credit union and even offered to drop off the cashier’s check at the dealership for us on her way home from work. This helped us in a tremendous way since the credit union is closed on Monday due to the holiday, the only day my husband is available!

Big thanks go out to Rebecca! That was a blessing in our life!

We decided to surprise Rebecca and thank her for Feel Good Friday. Watch the video in the player above.
