Compass Academy closes early Wednesday due to water main break

IDAHO FALLS — Compass Academy in Idaho Falls will close at 10 a.m. Wednesday due to a water main break on the street near the school, according to a news release from Idaho Falls School District 91.
District spokesman Dylan Barfuss said that while the issue is off school property, the disruption’s impact is making it necessary to dismiss students and staff early for their safety and comfort.
Nearby Dora Erickson Elementary School is not affected by this incident and will remain in session as usual.
Families of Compass Academy students are encouraged to make arrangements for early pick-up if needed.
