Leadore woman hospitalized following 2-vehicle crash in Clark County
Published at | Updated atCLARK COUNTY – A local woman was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision in Clark County Tuesday night.
It happened at 4:31 p.m. at milepost 39 west of Lone Pine on ID Highway 28, according to a news release from Idaho State Police.
ISP reports the driver of a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, an unnamed 41-year-old man from Salt Lake City, hit a 51-year-old woman from Leadore in a 2015 Ram 1500. She was in the eastbound lane of Highway 28. A 37-year-old woman from Idaho Falls was a passenger in the Silverado.
The reason for the collision wasn’t specified, but everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt. The woman in the Ram was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. The extent of her injuries is unclear.
ISP did not release the condition of the people in the Silverado.
Both lanes of Highway 28 were closed for about four hours while emergency responders were on scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
