Every week I’m interviewing exciting people from Idaho and around the world!

My family loves the “Dog Man” series and now Dreamworks Animation is bringing the popular book to the big screen!

When a faithful police dog and his human police officer owner are injured together on the job, a harebrained but life-saving surgery fuses the two of them together and Dog Man is born. Dog Man is sworn to protect and serve—and fetch, sit and roll over.

Lil Rel Howery is the voice of Chief and Isla Fisher is the voice of TV reporter Sarah Hatoff and I had a great time chatting with them about the film! Here’s what I asked:

  • Lil Rel – What was it like being in Dog Man?
  • Isla – Before you started working on this movie, were you familiar with the “Dog Man” books?
  • Have either of you met the author – Dav Pilkey?
  • Isla – what do you think makes a good reporter?
  • Lil Rel- what do you think makes a good police chief?
  • Do you have some favorite lines or parts from the movie?
  • Why should people see “Dog Man”?

Watch my interview with Lil Rel and Isla in the video player above and learn more about the “Dog Man” movie here. It officially comes out in theaters on Friday!
