Rigby’s Humphreys and Merwin sign to compete at Idaho State and Weber State, respectivley

RIGBY – Rigby’s Keanan Humphreys signed this week with Weber State to run sprints and hurdles, and Garrett Merwin signed with Idaho State to compete in decathlon.
Humphreys finished fifth in the 5A 300 hurdles at last year’s state meet with a time of 38.30.
Merwin, formerly of Idaho Falls High, finished second in the 4A state 110 hurdles, 13th in the discus, third in the pole vault, and fifth in the long jump.
He also finished sixth in the decathlon at the BYU Multis/Steeple/DMR meet.
