RV crashes into Portneuf River with two adults and a dog inside
Published at | Updated atPOCATELLO — An RV landed in the Portneuf River on Wednesday evening.
It went through a fence off a steep concrete wall into the river. There were a man, woman and dog in the RV at the time of the crash, and the extent of their injuries are unclear. The man and woman were transported to the hospital, and the dog was rescued by emergency workers.
No deaths have been reported.
According to Marlise Irby-Facer, spokesperson for the city, emergency services responded to the crash around 4:45 p.m.
The crash took place in the area of Historic Downtown Pocatello. A witness said it was on West Bonneville Street.
As of 6:20 p.m., emergency services were still working to remove the RV from the river.
