Every week I’m interviewing exciting people from Idaho and around the world!

Today we’re talking about BUGS! Specifically, season two of “A Real Bug’s Life” coming out on Disney+ on January 15. The original series from National Geographic takes viewers on an extraordinary adventure into the micro-bug world — where the forces of nature play out on a completely different scale and miniature creatures rely on amazing superpowers to make it through each day.

Producer Bill Markham and Executive Producer Dr. Martha Holmes joined me to talk about the series. Here’s what I asked them:

  • What is “A Real Bug’s Life” all about?
  • How did you get so much awesome close-up video of all the bugs?
  • What was the most fascinating thing you learned working on the series?
  • “A Real Bug’s Life” explores insects and bugs all over the world. Where are some of the places you visited while filming?
  • Tell me about Awkwafina’s involvement in the project?
  • Do you have a favorite bug?
  • What can viewers expect if they watch A Real Bug’s Life?
