EastIdahoNews.com is partnering with Ashley and Ashley Outlet of Idaho Falls to honor people in our community for Feel Good Friday. Every week, we surprise someone deserving of special recognition.

We recently received an email about a woman who is using her talents to help others. It said:

Nancy is a very talented quilter whom I know through our church participation. Five years ago she had the idea to make a homemade quilt for each of the girls in our congregation who would be graduating from high school as a graduation gift…She has done this for the last five years. Some years there have been two or three girls, and some years, five or six. This year there will be 11 young women graduating from high school, and she is making a quilt for each one of them. Knowing that there were so many girls graduating this year, she started early. She has been working on this since the summer. I nominate her for a Feel Good Friday award in recognition of the generous way she shares her time and talents.

We decided to surprise Nancy and thank her for Feel Good Friday! Check out the video in the player above.
