AMMON — An Ammon man missing since Sunday has been found deceased.

Troy McNett, 58, was located in Clark County Wednesday night, according to the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office. McNett’s two sons discovered him around 10:30 p.m. after receiving a tip from someone who had seen a social media post from the McNett family.

“Though the outcome was not what we had hoped, we are so grateful he was found before the storms that are expected today,” McNett’s wife, Tami McNett, said to EastIdahoNews.com in a statement. “It was due to the prayers and shares that this was possible and our family is eternally grateful for the love, care and compassion shown by friends, family, law enforcement and complete strangers.”

McNett’s family reported him missing on Monday evening after learning he did not show up to work.
