Permanns take individual honors, Freeman named to All-Tournament Team following Rockland’s 1A title run

ROCKLAND — Rockland completed its 1A State Championship run Saturday, besting Genesee 56-39 in the title game.
Like so many other games this season, the Bulldogs were led to victory by point guard Calyn Permann and forward Alexa Permann. Calyn finished the season’s final 1A game with 20 points, five rebounds, four assist, one block and six steals. Alexa added 15 points, 10 rebounds, one block and three steals.
For their efforts all weekend long, the Permann cousins were selected among the top performers during the state tournament.
Fellow senior Sydnee Freeman also received recognition, being named to the IdahoSports.com All-Tournament 3rd Team.
