Two people hospitalized following 2-vehicle crash near Boise

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.
MARSING – Idaho State Police is investigating an injury crash that occurred at 4:47 p.m. on Saturday, February 22 on U.S. Highway 95 at milepost 17 south of Marsing.
A 33-year-old (no name or gender specified) from Marsing was traveling northbound on U.S. 95 in a 2014 Chevy Cruze. A 36-year-old man from Tijuana, Mexico was traveling southbound in a 2018 Kenworth Semi tractor pulling a 2013 Great Dane reefer trailer. The Chevy Cruze crossed over the center and struck the semi-truck.
The driver of the Chevy Cruze was airlifted to a local hospital. The driver of the semi-truck was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
The lanes of U.S. 95 are expected to be blocked for an extended period.
This crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
