Dreamy Denz wants to host your toddler’s next birthday party

IDAHO FALLS – Mickey Griggs knows how chaotic it can be to keep track of toddlers at a birthday party. The Idaho Falls mother of three has chased kids at local venues many times, and her new business venture aims to make birthday celebrations a more pleasant experience.
In January, Griggs opened Dreamy Denz, a soft play party rental business. It’s a padded play area for kids 5 and under that’s enclosed in a little fence. It includes a bounce house, ball pit, climbing tunnel, slide, stacking cubes and other equipment.
“It creates a fun, engaging environment for kids where they’re able to freely play safely,” Griggs tells EastIdahoNews.com. “You don’t lose track of your kids. You can sit back, relax, visit and enjoy the party.”
The play area can be set up at any location, and Griggs customizes it with sticker images of the child’s favorite movie or TV character on the front of each playground toy. It’s decorated with balloons and balls that match the color scheme. See what it’s like in the video above.
In the last two months, Griggs says it’s been amazing to watch customers’ reactions to the setup. She recalls one experience with a “Moana” fan that was particularly memorable.
“You could tell that for this little girl ‘Moana’ was the best thing ever. She and her parents had probably watched the movie 200 times. It was cute to see her come out with her eyes big (as if she were saying), ‘Oh my gosh, this is for me?!'” says Griggs. “It was just so sweet.”
Griggs loves planning birthday parties for her kids, but entertaining lots of children all at once was challenging for her.
While there are many local venues that are fun, she says not all of them are age appropriate or clean and it’s often a stressful experience.
Griggs recently came across a soft play party rental for kids on TikTok and decided to start one in eastern Idaho.

She’s hoping to provide options for older kids in the future.
“I want to have a Nerf Gun war zone and a bumper car setup,” says Griggs. “I have another setup on its way aimed toward kids 5 and up. That way, I can have one of each.”
She’s grateful to Be Stickered in Idaho Falls for designing the stickers on her setup. 208 Inflate, a local bounce house and balloon company, provides the balloons. Griggs frequently works with Sagebrush Studio in downtown Idaho Falls to showcase her play rental. The owner of the event venue provides discounts for those who use it for Griggs’ party rental.
Griggs appreciates these local businesses for helping make her venture a success.
