THROUGH THE LENS: PBR rolls through town while spring sports prep for playoffs

EASTERN IDAHO — Playoffs are fast approaching for high school spring sports, as Idaho Falls and the Mountain America Center welcomed more than 30 professional bull riders for two nights of riding over the weekend.
Marsh Valley remains undefeated and among the 4A state championship favorites in baseball with two weeks remaining in the regular season, though Sugar-Salem, at 12-4, could present a challenge to the Eagles. In 5A, Bonneville has emerged as the class of District 6, much like Madison in 6A.
All told, it was an exciting week of sports across eastern Idaho as spring weather finally arrived.
