A FRIGHTENING SCENE — A woman is miraculously alive after a massive tree fell on her car while she was inside her vehicle.

The incident was caught on camera outside of a gas station, and the shocking footage was shared by ABC11 on April 8, 2025. Video shows a car driving on a road in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, when it comes to a stop in front of a huge tree that’s off to the driver’s right-hand side.

Out of nowhere, the tree comes crashing down, slamming right on top of the stopped car. It lands on the backseats only inches away from the driver.

Incredibly, the woman is able to open her door and get out of the car. She is seen running to the car in front of her while looking back at her vehicle and the tree lying on top of it.

Once the shocked driver reaches the driver in front of her, she puts her hands on her head as if in disbelief at what just happened.

John De Bow saw the accident happen. He was on the roof of a Karco gas station across the street, checking the HVAC unit, when the tree fell.

“She almost died. It was inches away from her death,” De Bow stated. “I heard cracking, and then I looked over and I saw it starting to fall, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God.'”

He told ABC11 he’s been worried about something like this happening. He noticed the dead tree before it fell and says others will likely come down.

“If you look at these other trees up here, they’re all dead, ready to fall down,” he told the news outlet.

As for the driver in the accident, she was reported to be okay. Thankfully, nobody else was inside the car.
