Jennings set the record for the most consecutive games played while winning 74 games in a row. The streak netted him winnings of more than $2.5 million.

Despite the record streak, Jennings doesn’t hold the record for highest amount won by a single Jeopardy! player. That record belongs to Brad Rutter, who won $3,455,102.

Jennings has returned to Jeopardy! for tournaments, including a second-place finish to IBM supercomputer Watson in one tournament.
