Suspected robber faces additional charges while released on bond
Published atIDAHO FALLS — A man facing charges for his alleged involvement in a January armed robbery was arrested Wednesday for possessing drugs.
Idaho Falls Police say Antonyo L. Beare, 29, made a deal with an undercover police officer to deliver methamphetamine.
Beare, who allegedly followed through with the deal, was contacted by police later in the day at Hastings on 17th St. Officers say he was in possession of meth and they discovered drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.
Another man accompanying Beare, Bobby J. Wilson, 39, was also arrested on a felony Bingham County warrant.
Wednesday’s arrest was Beare’s third run-in with the law since January. He currently faces a felony robbery charge for his alleged involvement in the armed robbery of a man on Jan. 24 near the 1400 block of East 17th St.
Another man charged in the robbery, Christopher Derrick of Idaho Falls, recently pleaded guilty to one charge of felony robbery and will be sentenced May 2.
Earlier this month, while out on bond for the robbery charge, Beare was arrested on four misdemeanor charges including driving under the influence, driving without privileges, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Beare is in the Bonneville Coutny Jail on the new drug charges. His bond is set at $25,000.
