Washington Federal President speaks about career at Chamber CEO Forum
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS —- The Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce continued its 2016 CEO Speaker Series this month with Washington Federal President & Chief Executive Officer Roy Whitehead.
The quarterly forum features one-on-one interviews between Chamber CEO Michelle Holt and Idaho business leaders in front of an audience.
Washington Federal, headquartered in Seattle, Washington, manages $15 billion in assets and 240 offices located in eight western states. Whitehead joined Washington Federal in 1998 and has been CEO since 2000. He came to the company from Wells Fargo, where he had served as President of the Colorado Bank and its predecessor, First Interstate Banks of Colorado.

Whitehead started his career with the Federal Reserve System in 1975. He is currently Chairman of the Seattle Community Development Roundtable and is the incoming Chairman of the Washington Bankers Association. He serves on the board of the United Way of King County, the Washington Roundtable, Year-Up and the Downtown Seattle Association.
