Friend: Man fell on knife during disturbance that resulted in 2 deaths

POCATELLO — Police are investigating a disturbance at a home on the 500 block of Jefferson Ave. which resulted in the deaths of two men.

Investigators tell EastIdahoNews.com the situation is considered “suspicious” but the community is not in danger.

“There are no suspects at large and no suspects are in custody,” Pocatello Police spokeswoman Dianne Brush says.

Police dispatch received a ‘fight in progress’ call around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

A friend at the home, who asked not be identified, tells EastIdahoNews.com there was an altercation between a small group of people. The friend says during the confrontation, a man in his 30’s fell onto a knife

Bannock County sheriff deputies are assisting Pocatello police with the investigation.
