REXBURG — The pilot of a small plane received minor injuries after the aircraft flipped during landing at the Rexburg airport tonight.
Officials tell EastIdahoNews.com the plane touched down on the runway around 6 p.m. and skidded onto the grass.
“The pilot had been making touch-and-go landings, and during one of these maneuvers, his plane lost power, and upon the hard landing, the plane flipped upside down,” said Corey Child, Chief of Madison Fire Department.
The airport was closed and the FAA and NTSB were contacted.
