IDAHO FALLS — Idaho Falls Police are investigating a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred in front of the C-A-L Ranch at 665 East Anderson Street on Friday morning.

Police say a male motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Anderson around 11:40 a.m. when a pickup truck pulled out of the C-A-L Ranch parking lot. To avoid a direct collision, the motorcyclist attempted to lay down his motorcycle, however, he still hit a part of the pickup, Idaho Falls spokeswoman Kerry Hammon told EastIdahoNews.com.

Idaho Falls Police and Idaho Falls Fire EMS responded to the crash.

The motorcyclist was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Family members identified him as Eric Goodson. They also said he was in stable condition and was expected to be released from the hospital later today.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
