Josh Johnson

Josh Johnson is a born and raised east Idahoan. Josh is a people person, and he loves working with the many outstanding members of our community. He is an active member in his Rotary club and serves on various boards in the community.

Josh is a very proud, single father of two. His son, Benjamin, is a mechanical engineer at Skyfish.ai, a commercial drone company in Missoula, Montana. His daughter, Piper, is a smart and beautiful pre-med student at Dixie State in St. George, Utah. Josh lives in Idaho Falls with his rescue dogs, Kreiger and Lola, and the charismatic turtle, Winston. In his free time, he loves to collect and preserve classic Mercedes automobiles.

Before his time at East Idaho News, Josh spent a couple of years in the car world as the service manager/general manager of a Subaru dealership. Before that, he enjoyed an almost 19-year career at Western States Caterpillar as a rental coordinator. Josh joined the East Idaho News team in September 2018.

As an account executive at East Idaho News, Josh works with clients to provide them information showing them how the capabilities of our platform match with their advertising needs. Then he works to customize an ad package that fulfills their needs. He doesn’t see himself as much a salesman as a provider of solutions to help you manage to grow your business. When Josh is not working, he is usually enjoying one of the many outdoor pursuits the region is best known for. He’s most happy when sharing good food and drink in a beautiful part of Idaho with his family and friends. He has picked up mountain biking and loves to spend his spare time pedaling up Sidewinder or in the Sawtooths.
