Man, 5 dogs found dead inside Jackson Hole home

JACKSON HOLE, Wyoming – An investigation is underway after a man and several dogs were found dead inside a Jackson Hole home Wednesday morning.
Deputies were dispatched for a welfare check at the home in the Game Creek Subdivision after the resident had not been seen by neighbors for approximately two weeks.
Investigators say there had been no movement at the house and there were no fresh tracks in the snow. When deputies entered the home, they discovered the body of a man and five deceased dogs, according to a Teton County Sheriff’s Office news release. One dog was found alive and rushed to Spring Creek Animal Hospital for treatment of starvation and dehydration.
Officials say the man’s death does not appear to be criminal in nature and the Teton County Coroner’s Office is working to confirm his identity.
